A mount (UK terminology) or a mat (US terminology) is a white piece of card inserted inside the frame to surround the print. This gives framed prints a more refined appearance.

Framed prints are always measured by the size of the glazing and not by the print itself. When a mount/mat is added the print size is reduced to fit the opening size of the mount/mat inside the frame of your selected choice.

If you wish to change your photo you can do so but only before you have approved to print. Please contact us or upload your preferred photo on your approval page.

In the UK and Europe prints and framed print products are made to the metrics dimensions shown. In the US and Australia they are made to the imperial inch dimensions.

Canvas products are made to the imperial inch dimensions in all regions.

You need to add the products to your cart one-by-one. Upload 1 photo from a product page and then Add to Cart, then return to the product page and repeat the process with a second photo.

Yes, once you have added your product to the cart then you will see on the cart page a text box "Notes for our designers" and you can enter into that extra sinstructions such as text you would like on the image.

Go to Checkout and on the final screen where payment methods are displayed then a "Gift card or discount code" box is visible above the payment options.

We can create products which are either portrait or landscape orientation.

Please add a note to your order if you have a specific orientation you want. Typically the designer will look at the photo supplied and make a judgement on the best composition and orientation, often this is the same as the original photo.

If you see your proof image and prefer the orientation to be changed then please just request a revision.

We have worked with old photographs and have created some stunning images in the past for our customers. For the best results we recommend scanning your photo if possible or if not taking a photo of the print with a camera or phone.

We don't need advanced camera photos to make great art, phone camera photos work great 99% of the time, however it's important that your photo isn't blurry or it won't be very clear when it's printed. We recommend making sure all subjects are complete with nobody missing off the edge. In our experience, the best prints are usually from photos with lots of colours either from the background, setting or from the clothing worn.

Yes, black and white photos can be converted and produce lovely results. The watercolour effect around the subjects will be black and white too but can be colour tinted to give a nice effect. If you prefer a colour image then it may be possible to colourise the image beforehand using AI tools, please contact us in advance about this possibility.
