I have ordered 4 lovely pictures of family members from Turned Art. I would love to share pictures of them but as they are gifts they are already wrapped to give to the family. The quality is fab. The colours are lovely and clear. When you get your email to review before the final order goes in, the team are super efficient and did everything I asked to make my art work just right. I bought this picture as a gift for my wife. When I got the notification that it had been delivered, I was surprised to see how small it was. I assumed I had selected the wrong size. Since it was smaller than expected, I decided to not hold it for Christmas and just go ahead and give it to her that day. When she opened it, it was very disappointing because it wasn’t the correct picture at all. We were sent someone else’s order. I emailed immediately and was told a replacement would be sent. I asked if it could be bumped up to the next larger size as a courtesy and did not receive a response. I even took the additional step of finding a telephone number and making the international call to make the request verbally. I was told they would check on that, but I never got a response. When I received the replacement, it was the size that I originally ordered, so I assume my request was denied.
The mixup caused a change in gift plans for Christmas which was frustrating, but I understand mistakes happen. Not even responding to my request was actually rude, however. Even a polite message declining it would have been acceptable.
I love the picture, though, and have absolutely no complaints about it.
Customer service follow-through could definitely be improved.
