Photo Guidelines for Pop Art Portraits
For Watercolour Portraits guidelines click here.
We make all of our custom made art work using the photo file that you include with your order. Although we are able to work with almost any photo, there are a few guidelines that ensure your final print will be the best it can be.
1. Image quality
For the best results and the most striking art work, we recommend that you use a bright clear image with the subject clear, unobstructed and in full view, taken in conditions with plenty of light.

2. Image Composition
We use the photo you send us to create the artwork. We recommend that subjects fill the frame and are not too distant, since the Pop Art style does not include fine detail which would be necessary to clearly see distant subjects. Subjects cut off at the edges of the photo are not recommended either but can work.
3. Image Size and Resolution
Try to use the original photo, modern cameras and phones produce excellent high resolution images, but using a screenshot of a photo or social media post results in a lower resolution file.
4. Black and White Images
Black and white photos can be used without any issues.
We always send proof images for review, so don't worry if you're not sure how your photo will come out. You'll be able to see the preview and with the unlimited revisions we offer then you can ask the designer for any adjustments necessary to make it perfect.
