"The Hay Wain" by John Constable
The Hay Wain is a one of the most famous English paintings, it is an oil on canvas painting by John Constable, completed in 1821, which depicts a rural scene on the River Stour between the English counties of Suffolk and Essex. It hangs in the National Gallery in London and is regarded as "Constable's most famous image" and one of the greatest and most popular English paintings.

Framed Print: Ready-to-hang in a black wooden frame with perspex glaze, milled with simple clean lines and a satin finish for extra protection. Square profile frame measures 20mm. The size listed refers to the size of the glaze and does not include the width of the frame.
Canvas: Stretched canvas on a wooden frame with 38mm of depth. Finger jointed canvas frames create corner tension which helps to resist warping. For larger sizes, we add wooden ‘wedges’ to each corner. A "Mirror wrap" on the edges of the image is repeated on the sides with the entire image appearing on the front.
