"The Scream" by Edvard Munch

The Scream Pastel (1895) is one of several version which Munch created. The Norwegian artist created it, the agonised face in the painting has become one of the most iconic images in art, seen as representing a profound experience of existential dread related to the human condition. Munch created two versions in paint and two in pastels, as well as a lithograph stone from which several prints survive.

Print-only: High quality Giclee printing with no-fade inks onto museum grade fine art paper ensuring your art will last a lifetime.

Framed Print: Ready-to-hang in an antique gold wooden frame with perspex glaze, milled with simple clean lines and a satin finish for extra protection. Square profile frame measures 20mm. The size listed refers to the size of the glaze and does not include the width of the frame.

Canvas: Stretched canvas over a wooden inner frame with 38mm/1.5" of depth.

Framed Canvas: Stretched canvas on a frame with antique gold float box frame around it with a gap between the canvas and the frame. A "Mirror wrap" on the edges of the image is repeated on the sides with the entire image appearing on the front.

Acrylic: A frame-free wall art option, our scratch resistant acrylic glass is crystal clear with diamond polished edges giving stunning, luminous colours with brilliant depth giving a modern, contemporary look. It is shatter and scratch resistant, see photo of the hidden hanging system.


Note that size measurements are not precise due to metric/imperial conversions. Acrylic product are not available in 18x24 so 16x24 is used instead. Original artwork may be cropped to best fit available product sizes.
